Stuart
Skorman is a trend-setting entrepreneur with 30 years experience pioneering
new business models. Skorman succeeds by creating innovative merchandising,
marketing and customer-education programs. He is best known for educating
and entertaining customers. Skorman founded four companies since 1985,
including Empire Video, Reel.com, HungryMinds.com and Elephant Pharmacy.
Before he became an entrepreneur, Skorman was a senior executive and board member at Bread & Circus, a natural foods retail chain later purchased by Whole Foods. Skorman's earlier career included commercial real estate consulting, discount store retailing and entertainment management. Skorman is completing his first book, "Confessions of a Serial Entrepreneur," to be published by Jossey-Bass in Winter 2007.
